The Merci Train, also known as the French Gratitude Train or the Forty and Eight

We've spent the week enjoying the mild weather (no snow this year), seeing lots of train exhibits, and meeting Toots and Poppie in Baltimore at the B&O Railroad Museum.  Then there was a fantastic lunch in Little Italy in Baltimore, some beers and English football in Fells Point, and Hanukkah presents. Alex loves his Hot Wheels Sky Jump set from Toots. On Friday we met Shana for lunch in DC and a quick hop to Union Station for the train exhibit.
