Pictures from the past week. We've been busy! JD was in NY, there was some snow, then we had a wedding this weekend and Grannie and Andrea babysat Alex. He kept them busy eating and playing and dancing. Alex is starting to say two words together "More means" (translation - more airplanes) and can count (sort of) 1..2..5

Airplane!

A fun weekend. Alex had a great weekend with Toots and Shana (and Dad of course) while I was in Charlotte. There was a trip to the National Air and Space Museum since Alex loves airplanes. I also understand there was lots of playing and coloring and puzzles and some good lasagna Shana made.
Playing outside. It was warm these past few days as you can tell from what Alex is wearing (it was in the 70's!). Unfortunately it is cooler today. Yesterday Alex learned the color "blue". He also likes to help clean up and put things where they belong - will this last? He also has been enjoying looking at pictures of buses and trucks on the internet since he can't get enough of them on the roads it seems.
A few new pictures. When Alex says "cheese" for the camera, he squints. I also introduced Alex to the broom and dustpan which he seemed to like. He also had some crazy hair when he woke up from his nap yesterday. Current collection of words include: yummies (for food) kitty cat meow airplane (pronounced "mean") bus truck moon stars turtle teeth ears nose neck toes bath color yellow ball ouch bright pacifier (pronounced "pass") Natalie Papa (for Nagypapa) shoes hat and many more - Alex is in full mimic mode and will copy anything we do.

2008!

Recent pictures. Not much going on these past few days, except we bought a new car! A 2007 VW Passat Wagon. For the full story, see JD's blog . Careful, the blog is not censored. Alex continues to eat voraciously, and scream his new word "no no no no no" a lot. He's also the puzzle king at daycare we were told on Friday. Oh, the yummy bowl of food in the picture is some rockin' jambalaya JD made.
