This past Sunday was our first big market day since we've been away. Turkey brochettes (foreground) with salt, cracked pepper, oregano and lemon, a Greek salad with fresh tomatoes ("coeur de pigeon"), mini cucumbers and feta cheese, fresh figs, a baguette and some cheese (tomme de savoie aux herbes, an aged Saint Félicient, and a fresh, moist chevre rounded out the best lunch we've had in a while.
